Our stay at the Laurel View Chalet was everything that the proverbial Doctor had ordered. An idyllic setting on Lake Naomi provided our family a vacation that was truly restorative and healing.Nathan shared that the home and proximity to the Beautiful Lake would meet our needs.He was spot on. Especially with 3 grandchildren with boundless energy.We enjoyed, kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing just steps from the front door.The kids were so excited to catch fish, especially some nice bass.We also enjoyed the Lake Naomi Club and all of it's amenities.The Beach, pools and golf course really enhanced our stay and gave everyone options to enjoy each day.We loved sitting on the dock, taking in the beautiful sunsets and admiring a lone eagle that seemed to keep watch over the Lake. The weather was terrific and much cooler than home.Our Hosts, Nathan and Amy, were wonderful.They responded to all of our questions and needs and that is priceless. Lord willing, we shall return. Our family had an amazing stay at Rocking Horse Acres. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was private and peaceful and there were a ton of activities to do inside and out . Amy was a very responsive host and my kids loved getting to feed the chickens, goats, and cows with her. The farm fresh eggs were amazing! Other highlights: the porch swing, the gym, the pond with frogs, the books & games for kids.

We had a truly wonderful stay this past 4th of July weekend with my family. The house was cozy, clean, and very well distributed — it had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. Jessica and Amy were exceptionally kind and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were doing well. We felt very welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. Thank you so much for such a lovely experience — we would absolutely love to come back!

Amy was excellent. She was very responsive to our needs. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the house, lake and the area. We had a blast. You could not have had better weather!!! We created some excellent 4th of July memories.

We call ourselves the Rocking Horse Crew now! Each day and night was memorable, and RH Acres was the backdrop making sure we were as comfortable as we would be at our own homes. The house and property transported us to country luxury. And the fresh eggs sealed the deal! I highly recommend a visit.

We just got back from a memorable stay at this house. Upon arrival, the house was clean and spacious. We were a large group and felt comfortable. A few things that were bothersome but definitely not a deal breaker would be in the kitchen area. Being a large group we had a limited amount of space in the kitchen. There really couldn't be more than two people in there at once. Also being a large group, we had a lot of garbage. We were constantly having to refill the garbage pail and then after a few bags of garbage we would have to drive to the community dumpster. It would've been less trips to the dumpsters if there were a larger garbage pail in the kitchen. Those would be my only cons, but as I said not a deal breaker! We had a great weekend making memories and thanks to our hosts for providing us with the opportunity to do so in such a great space. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful lake house! My kids loved the game room and it was plenty of space for my family of 7. We will definitely be back in the future!!

House was very clean and functional, very welcoming. Perfect for 6 or more. We stayed for a basketball tournament at Split Rock and it was minutes away from the location town center. Plenty of room for 2 families players/kids.

Our family had a delightful time in this beautiful townhome. We have stayed at several rentals in the neighborhood and this location has perfectly scaled furniture for the space and number of occupants. The kitchen had just about everything we needed! We enjoy cooking on vacation. And while I usually steer clear of pet friendly rentals due to some dander allergies in my family - this home was very clean and we had no issues at all. A real joy to relax in this lovely home in a peaceful neighborhood. We hope to be back again!
